Have you long dreamed of going on safari in Africa and finding yourself in the middle of the savannah to observe lions, giraffes and elephants? Or venture up Mount Kilimanjaro, the roof of Africa? Do you also dream, when you work non-stop, to treat yourself to a few days on a paradise island with white sand beaches and turquoise water, and in addition, to practice yoga in this ideal setting?

It is possible to combine these dream trips... in one stay in Tanzania!
The travel agency Twende Africa Tours in collaboration with myself organizes since 2019 an unforgettable stay in Tanzania-Zanzibar during the All Saints holidays. Very complete and flexible, it will allow you to see the most beautiful places of Tanzanian nature aboard a private jeep with your guide. This year, we are launching an alternative to the Safari: that of climbing the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro (5895 m).

And then, to rest, you will fly to Zanzibar where you will spend the end of your stay in an idyllic setting and practice yoga (all levels). Want to go to Zanzibar only? It will also be possible this year 2023!

Detailed Itinerary

WEEK 1 / OPTION A

21-27 October 2023
SAFARI at Lake MANYARA and SERENGETI

21 Oct: Arrival and transfer to Moshi

22 Oct: Departure from Moshi/Arusha – Lake Manyara
Hotel pickup in Moshi and drive to Lake Manyara. Lunch followed by an afternoon game drive. Accommodation at Kizumba camp.

23 Oct : Drive to Serengeti National Park, our destination today! The most famous of all wildlife sanctuaries in Africa!
And is home to the largest wildlife migration in Africa. We enter the Serengeti National Park, heading towards one of the camps near the Seronera River inside the park.

24 Oct : Full day safari in the Serengeti National Park.
More than 14,000 square kilometers to explore, in search of the best that nature has to offer!
Accommodation in a camp in Seronera.

25 Oct : Wake up at dawn, Safari with wildlife (hunting time). On our way to Moshi, we cross the rim of the Ngorongoro crater. At the end of the evening, we arrive in Moshi to spend the night.

26 Oct : Free day to visit the city of Moshi and buy souvenirs. Possibility to organize an excursion to the hot springs of Moshi.

27 Oct : Free day in Moshi. Possibility to organize an excursion to the waterfalls under Mount Kilimanjaro.
Arrival of travelers who climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and information meeting in the evening.

28 Oct: Transfer to the airport. Internal flight to Zanzibar. Transfer to the lodges by the sea.

WEEK 2
28 October – 3 November 2023
YOGA in ZANZIBAR

28 Oct: Travelers who have not made the 1st week (Safari or Kilimanjaro), arrive at Zanzibar Airport (ZNZ) no later than October 28 morning (it is advisable to arrive the day before, the 27th).
For people who have done the 1st week (Safari or Kilimanjaro), Transfer from Moshi to Kilimanjaro airport early in the morning of October 28 for the direct flight to Zanzibar.

Arrival at Zanzibar airport.
Transfer to the lodge for all travelers and welcome meeting.

29/30/31Oct + 1/2 Nov
Vinyasa Yoga class in the morning at 7:30 am.
Breakfast at 9:00 am.
Free days to enjoy the paradisiacal beaches with white sand and transparent water.
3 sessions of gentle Yoga spread over the week at 16:30.
Possibility to make boat trips and several excursions in the archipelago of Zanzibar.

3 Nov: 08:00 – 10:
00: Breakfast.
11:00 am: Check out and transfer from the hotel to Zanzibar airport
